Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using the Traynrs website (traynrs.com) or mobile application (collectively, the "Platform"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.

2. What Traynrs Is — Discovery Platform, Not Employer

Traynrs is a discovery and matching platform. We connect fitness studios with independent fitness instructors. Traynrs does not employ instructors, set their rates, direct their work, or guarantee bookings.

Instructors who use Traynrs are independent contractors, not employees or agents of Traynrs. Any arrangement made between a studio and an instructor through the Platform is a direct agreement between those parties. Traynrs is not a party to those arrangements and accepts no liability for them.

Studios and instructors are responsible for complying with all applicable employment, tax, and contractor laws in their jurisdiction.

3. Eligibility

  • You must be at least 18 years old to use the Platform.
  • You must provide accurate and truthful information when creating your account and profile.
  • You may not create more than one account per person or entity.
  • You may not use the Platform if you have been previously suspended or removed by Traynrs.

4. Studio Accounts — Subscription Terms

Studios access the Platform through a paid subscription:

  • Free trial: New studio accounts receive a 14-day free trial of the Professional tier. No charge until the trial ends. Cancel anytime during the trial at no cost.
  • Billing: Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance. By providing payment information, you authorize Traynrs to charge your payment method on a recurring basis.
  • Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Access continues until the end of the current billing period. No refunds are issued for partial months.
  • Price changes: We will provide at least 30 days' notice before changing subscription prices. Continued use after notice constitutes acceptance.
  • Failed payments: If a payment fails, we will attempt to retry and notify you by email. Access may be suspended after multiple failed attempts.

5. Instructor Accounts

  • Instructor accounts are free and will remain free.
  • Instructors are responsible for ensuring their profile information — including certifications, styles, availability, and experience — is accurate and up to date.
  • Uploading fraudulent certifications or misrepresenting qualifications may result in immediate suspension.
  • Instructors may pause or deactivate their profile at any time from account settings.

6. Sub Alert Bookings — No-Show Policy

When an instructor accepts a sub alert booking, they make a commitment to the studio. The following no-show policy applies:

  • A no-show occurs when an instructor fails to appear for a confirmed booking without canceling at least 2 hours in advance.
  • A first no-show results in a warning on the instructor's profile.
  • Two or more no-shows within a 90-day period may result in profile suspension pending review.
  • Repeated or fraudulent no-shows may result in permanent removal from the Platform.
  • Studios may report a no-show within 24 hours of the class time via the Platform.

7. Ratings and Reviews

Traynrs operates a two-way rating system. After a completed booking, studios may rate instructors and instructors may rate studios. Ratings must be honest and based on actual experience. We prohibit:

  • Fake, coerced, or incentivized reviews.
  • Retaliatory ratings submitted in bad faith.
  • Attempting to manipulate your own rating.

Ratings that violate these rules may be removed. Accounts engaged in rating manipulation may be suspended.

8. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Use the Platform to harass, threaten, or discriminate against other users.
  • Post false, misleading, or defamatory content.
  • Circumvent the Platform to avoid subscription fees (e.g., contacting instructors discovered on Traynrs through outside channels to bypass the platform after the initial connection).
  • Scrape, copy, or redistribute Platform data without permission.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts or Platform systems.
  • Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose.

9. Content You Submit

By uploading profile photos, videos, bio text, or any other content to the Platform, you grant Traynrs a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to display that content on the Platform and in promotional materials. You retain ownership of your content.

You are responsible for ensuring you have the rights to any content you upload. Do not upload content that violates copyright, contains nudity, or is otherwise inappropriate.

10. SMS Communications

By providing a phone number, you consent to receive SMS messages from Traynrs including sub alert notifications and booking confirmations. Reply STOP to opt out. Message and data rates may apply. See our Privacy Policy for full SMS terms.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Traynrs does not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any instructor or studio will meet your expectations. Use the Platform at your own risk.

Traynrs does not verify all instructor credentials in real time. While we offer a verification badge program, the presence or absence of a badge does not constitute an endorsement or guarantee of any instructor's qualifications.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Traynrs and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost revenue, canceled classes, personal injury, or property damage arising from your use of the Platform or from any booking made through it.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the Platform shall not exceed the amount you paid to Traynrs in the 3 months preceding the claim.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Traynrs and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of your use of the Platform, your violation of these Terms, or your interactions with other users.

14. Account Termination

Traynrs may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms, fraudulent activity, or conduct harmful to other users or the Platform. You may delete your account at any time from account settings.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Texas.

16. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or in-app notice at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
